Michel Tessier, Owner - Designer and Estimator
Michel is a graduate of the Journeyman Welder Program at SAIT and a certified Welding Supervisor with the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB). Michel has 25 years of experience in custom fabrication and welding including 20 years in the Bow Valley. Michel has a reputation for finding creative solutions to complex problems. He has collaborated with designers, architects, engineers and builders, contributing his knowledge and advice on everything from design to material selection.
Evelyne Labelle, Co-owner and Managing director
As a professional engineer, Evelyne started her career in the public sector and worked for the City of Montreal, the Town of Canmore and was a member of the senior management team with the Town of Banff before venturing into entrepreneurship with Bow-Cor Welding. Her expertise in complex infrastructure and transportation projects provides her with essential skills in program and project management, contract administration, customer relations, accounting, human resources and health and safety.
Christian Oswald, Shop Manager
Christian is a graduate of SAIT Journeyman Welder Program, Red Seal graduate and a certified Welding Supervisor with the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB). Christian has 28 years of experience in welding and custom fabrication, of which 25 years are in the Bow Valley and 16 years with Bow-Cor Welding. Christian is our first point of contact with customers and coordinates and schedules projects for fabrication.
Spencer Thiessen, Production Lead and Senior Fabricator
Spencer is also a SAIT graduate and completed his journeyman welder program. Red Seal graduate, he has 18 years of experience in custom fabrication and welding and has been with the company for 16 years. He successfully completed his Welding Supervisor Certificate with the Canadian Welding Bureau. Spencer excels at troubleshooting and building complex projects.
Jeff Goorts, Senior Fabricator
Jeff has been with Bow-Cor Welding for eight years and is a graduate of SAIT in the Journeyman Welder Program. Prior to becoming a journeyman welder, Jeff was in retail management and he brings strong customer service and financial management skills to our projects.
Noriko Ohsada, Accounts Administrator
Noriko is responsible for our book keeping, accounts receivable and payable, and general administration support. Noriko excels at identifying and implementing processes that enhance efficiencies and improve our operations. She has been with the company for six years.
Matt Grant, Office Manager
Matt is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, he began his professional journey in the manufacturing industry in Ontario before his passion for skiing led him to the Rocky Mountains. With experience in various trades offices and a talent for office management and project coordination, Matt brings a fresh perspective and dynamic skill set to our team.
