Corrosion prevention

To protect metal products there are many options available to choose from, but we would like to highlight two this time: Galvanize finish and/or powder coating. Both methods are economical, environmentally friendly, and provides durability.

The best corrosion prevention method is galvanizing. During the process, the material is dipped into a molten zinc bath. At the temperature of approximately 440°C the zinc and metal creates a zinc-iron alloy. After the material is removed from the zinc bath, the tension deposit becomes an even layer of zinc on the ally layer. Because of the material being dipped into the zinc bath, it makes possible to cover all areas, including edges, corners, holes and inaccessible sections.

We recommend using galvanize finish where it is essential to protect the steel from corrosion. For example exterior stair cases, balcony railings, etc.

Powder coat can be used on galvanized or non-galvanized surfaces as well. In this process, a powder that contains resin and fine pigments is sprayed on the metal surface. The powder particles become charged, so it adheres to the surface. In the final step, the powder smoothly fuses with the metal in a curing oven.

There is a wide selection of colours to chose from, available in matte or high-gloss, even in sparkling metallic! The result is a durable and high-quality finish.

Powder coat finishes can be used on railings, signs, and a variety of every day items that are important to resist chipping and fading.
